Traffic offence outside UK

Post by tier1extend » Wed Jul 24, 2013 10:06 am

Hi,

My last extension was in Oct 2011 and I need to get my visa extended again before Oct 2013.

In Feb 2012, I received a penalty for a red light camera offence in the US.
I didn't have to go to the court and I paid the fine online. There were no points on my driving license and this type of violation information is not passed to the insurance companies.

The concern is that the fine came through a court ( which is the normal way there).

Such violations are not criminal offences and it doesn't affect the driving records there.

Should I declare this violation in my extension application ?
