Do I need to show maintenance money for child application

Hello,I on tier 4 visa and want to apply for dependant visa for my new born. I want to know if I would need to show maintenace money for her application or just the UK birth certificate and if I have to show maintenace money will I have to show money for myself+2 other dependant + the new born.
