Family Visitor Visa for elderly people?

Hi,

I am a Tier one holder person. I want to sponsor my grandmother to visit UK on family visitor visa.
My only concern is about her age, she is 84 year old. Has anybody faced any aged/health issue with elderly people family visitor visa for UK? if yes then what could be possible supporting documents to get visa done. Please suggest.

What ties has she got to her home Country?

there is no additional restriction on elderly visitors - they need to pass two basic tests as any other visitors

1) whether they can support their stay without recourse to public fund (this could be either self financed and/or sponsored)
2) whether they have enought ties with home country i.e. incentive to return back on completion of the trip

separately you need to consider comprehensice medical insurance for the visitor should they need medical assistance during their stay in the UK.

also as you are on tier 1, so general visitor is the category she needs to apply for.
