Thank you for taking the time out to view my post.
Introduction
My wife and I (married April 2013) are in the process of filling out the VAF4a Appendix 2 form.
And we just need some assistance with it.
I am currently in the UK and have been for 23 years... My wife is currently in Pakistan.
My jobs
I have 2 jobs:
1st Job
I have been with this employer for 14 months, my annual salary is (just above) £13,000 (sorry don't have the exact figures) and I will be receiving my yearly bonus (of £3,000) in my July 2013 pay.
I get paid by the hour in this employement.
2nd Job
With my second employer, I have been with them for 8 months now, my annual salary is £6,000.
I get fix pay per month £500, ... Annually £6,000
What we need assistance with
I assume that we apply via the Cat B route?
My problem then arises in 3.4 - 3.10, I assume that this is where I put down the details for my first job.
In 3.11 can I put down my gross pay PLUS my bonus (so, £13,000 + £3,000) £16,000?
Then what I do answer to these questions:
3.12 Has your sponsor been in employment with the same employer and earning the amount, as detailed in 3.11 above,
continuously for 6 months prior to the date of the application? (Category A)
YES [] go to 3.21 NO [] go to 3.13
3.13 Has your sponsor had other salaried employment, in the UK, in the 12 months prior to the date of application?
(Category B) Put a cross (x) in the relevant box
YES [] NO [] go to 3.20
Then where do I enter in my second jobs details along with my salary from that...?
And, finally, where do I put down my final total yearly salary (from both jobs)
1st Job....£13,000
2nd Job...£ 6,000
Total.......£19,000
Bonus.....£ 3,000
TOTAL.....£22,000
I assume that £22,000 is what I would put down, right?
