Thanks Lola22. We think it better to apply for ILR instead of extend T1E although we will continue with current business and may be invest in some new different activities/businesses as ILR will make us feel rest in visa extension pressure (example if we will have to wait another 8-10 months long) and imposing of creation two new jobs. But in poor case if ILR visa is refused, do T1E visa still valid or it will canceled too?Lola22 wrote:Congratulations and thank you for posting all the information.
I will advice that you continue with the business since the business is promising but she have to make plans to change to ILR next year because it has no restriction.
The company will continue to exist and it will only be the immigration status that will be changed to a better one. Once, she got the ILR she can decide to invest any amount she want, employ people if she wants and run her company the way she wants.
Thanks. Will kept you posted for the ILR process....Lola22 wrote:That is why I said she should continue with the business and make sure it is active. Her present leave remains the same. She may also be asked questions about her businees when she applies for ILR, so she should get every document ready.
When she gets her ILR she can then, decide to continue with that business or change to something else.
Since the business is promising, I will advice that she continue with it wt her ILR and she can do anything else on a part-time if she wants. It is good to work for yourself if you have a promising business.
Good luck.
