almost 6 months without answer

hi guys, i have applied for EEA2 in february, 5th. One month later i have received the COA with right to work and stating that my application will take no longer than 6 months to be answered. However,next sunday the 6 months will be finishing and i still didn't get any answer. I am also planning to go for holidays on 23rd of august, so if any one can give me advice in order to get my RC before 23rd of august i ll be so pleased.

You can expedite your application. Write to them, phone or email.

How would you phone them? I have tried the usual numbers but it was all automated messages repeating information and email addresses from the website. Cheers
