Help! Payslips have wrong address

Post by UnicornMoonbeam » Sun Jul 28, 2013 9:28 pm

:( I am currently in the process of getting the required documentation together for my FLR(M) -- spouse visa. We make more than enough for the required maintenance.

When my then boyfriend, now husband, moved in together 4 years ago, he moved out of a small flat that he owned. A friend now lives there rent-free, but with an official lease agreement and everything.

I just found out that he never changed the address on his wageslips to our address together, since, after all, it's a pal that lives there so easy enough to pick up the post. (I'm trying to reign in my anger about this).

However, I am now concerned that the mismatched address will raise a flag when we go to apply for my FLR(M).

My idea is that we bring a copy of his tenancy agreement with our friend, as well as a letter signed by her affirming that she lives there alone and occasionally brings my husband his post. We'll also have plenty of other evidence of a shared address: bank statements, council tax bills, utility bills.

Any other ideas?

Thanks!

Ask the employer to create duplicate wage slips for the last three months with the correct address on, you only need to submit the 3 months before the application, the other cohabitation proofs should be the correct address.

Thanks! If it's only 3 months, it might be less problematic. I'll see if my husband can do that.
