ILR - am i eligible?

Post by smoothraj » Sun Jul 28, 2013 10:32 pm

self
i arrived in the UK on tier-2 ICT in Jan 2009. I then moved jobs in May 2012, and successfully switched (in-country) to tier-2 General visa which is valid until 2015+.

i will complete 4 years 11 months on tier-2 ict+tier-2 gen(as explained above with dates) in mid-Dec 2013.

given that I switched to tier-2 gen in may 2012, does my ILR clock get reset from May 2012?

Or do I still qualify for ILR in Dec 2013 ?

spouse

my wife arrived in the UK in Jan 2012 as tier-2 ICT dependent and then switched in-country to tier-2 Gen dependent visa in May 2012.

would she too qualify to apply for ILR along with me in Dec 2013
(she will complete 1 year 11 months as my dependent in the UK)?

thank you for your advice!

You and your wife should be fine. Dont see any issues.
