eea2 & company redundancy

Post by cuttingman33 » Mon Jul 29, 2013 5:01 pm

Currently in the process of being made redundant by my company, probably got 1-2 months left. But need to do EEA2 form for my wifes 2 kids, should I apply now or wait until I've got a new job?

Was thinking by the time they get around to checking my form and if they call the company and then find out I'm unemployed will it be a problem for the application?

Involuntary redundancy does not necessarily mean that you would lose the status of worker.

Suggest you have a good read through directive 2004/38/ec and check the requirements against your case.
