TIME LIMIT ON STUDENT VISA

10 OCT 05- 25 AUG 2006 DIPLOMA IN COMPUTER SCIENCE
11 SEP 06- 31 AUG 2007 ANVANCED DIPLOMA
10 SEP 07- OCT08 BSC TOP UP

0CT 08- 7TH JULY09 PASSPORT WAS HELD BY UKBA 10MONTHS
07 JULY 09 - 7TH JULY 11 PSW VISA
20TH APRIL 2011 APPLIED TO TIER 4 BUT PASSPORT WAS HELD BY UKBA
TILL 14TH MAY 2012 AND RECEIVED WITH REFUSAL LETTER(MAINTANANCE)

13TH JULY 2012 APPEAL WAS ALLOWED
12TH JULY 2013 RECEIVED A LETTER FROM UKBA AND GOT THE RESIDENT PERMIT FOR 60DAYS
MY QUESTION IS CAN I RENEW STUDENT VISA FOR ANOTHER TWO YEARS
FOR LEVEL 7 ACCA.

After psw visa, during April 2011-July 2013 what did you studied?

If we exclude the time you spent on PSW and its long processing then almost 5 years you spent on tier 4 and therefore, possibly one year can be spent further on Level 7 course if meet the academic progression criteria. Remember, a complete ACCA is equal to level 7 but its 1st fundamental stage is level 6 and professional stage is level 7 that means if you want to carry on ACCA then its level 6 stage must have been passed so far been because you already hit the level 6 degree cap by spending already 5 years.

i have passed 5 papers including 3papers in level6.i just wonder how come ukba will consider 5 years in tier4 because when i applied for visa on 2011 april they kept the passport for nearly a year got refused. last week only i have received the resident permit and a letter saying " you will be allowed to switch into tier4 category, on an exceptional basis within this period of leave" can you pls let me know can study acca for another two years

hi guru if someone spent 8years on student visa ( 1 year postgraduate and 7 year short diploma) and 1year on psw so after 9 year can he again come on tier4 visa or not as he already spent 8 years on student visa ? thank you
