Dependent Tier1 (General) - Lost Passport

Post by chikisdreams » Wed Jul 31, 2013 9:47 pm

Hi,

I have lost Indian passport which had my Tier 1 (G) dependent visa as well.

I have got duplicate Indian passport now. I was told that I need to apply for TOC to get a BRP card now.

My question:
Do I need to have my husband's Tier 1(G) visa as well when I have to apply for TOC? The reason I ask is, he has lost the BRP card and applied for replacement BRP (RC) and it will take at least a month for him to get it.

Can I apply now or should I need the BRP card of my husband for me to apply?

Note: Both my husband and myself had visas valid till July-2015 before we lost them.

Any help, highly appreciated.

Thanks
Neha
