Dependent Visa Renewal Outside UK

Dependent Visa Renewal Outside UK

Hi

I wanted to know if dependent Visa can be renewed outside UK after the main applicant renewed in UK.
Also is there any gap period restriction for dependent for applying ILR ?
My case first time dependent visa given in April 2012 and travel of dependent in Oct 2012 .
Main application will be eligible for ILR in OCT 2012 .
Even though the dependent is not stayed 2 yrs contineously can ILR be applied for dependent also .
