Please help! Need advice on what best route

Post by pritzy_18 » Fri Aug 02, 2013 12:17 pm

Dear all,

Hi there! My gf and i recently moved in together after she gave birth to our little boy who is now 3months old. She is a non-eu citisen with a PSW visa which will be expired on july 2014. We are now looking for possible route for her to take to extend her stay.

We considered going for partners visa however, since we just moved in together, we do not qualify for this category as it requires living together of at least 2 years.

We also considered going for parent of a child in UK but again we do not qualify on this category as we both live together.

My gf is on her maternity leave at the moment and im on benefits- which might complicate her visa application.

Would anyone give us an advice with regards to our situation? What is the best route can we take?

Thanks for your help!

Marriage. This assumes you would be able to meet the minimum finance level.
Edit: I've trawled back through your previous posts and it appears that you have Irish Citizenship. In this thread you were advised to look at the EU route:
