Hi All,
I had a query which i'm hoping someone can help me with. My Wife was granted ILR back in July 2012 and now i will be applying for British Citizenship. So one of th eareas that require you to show documentary evidence is:
Evidence of knowledge of English and of life in the UK
So this was also needed at the time of applying for ILR and i sent on the ESOL with citzenship course certificate as well as letter from College. So its saying for british citizenship she needs to provide the following:
your confirmation that you met this requirement in order to obtain settlement.
So what exactly would this confirmation be, since she has already demonstrated that at the time of the ILR. Or is it simply a case of ticking the box. Is there no documentary evidence required? I mean we still have the certificate and course completion letter from the college so should i include these in the application.
Also, am i right in thinking that only 1 photo is required with the application which needs to be endorsed by a professional person.
Thanks
Hummy
