Application Date and banking statement

Post by kindatheart » Fri Aug 09, 2013 6:20 am

Hi there, I've got a question. Tried phoning the UK consulate and inquiring WorldBridge to no avail, they basically just direct to the UKBA website.

My niece has paid the Tier 4 General visa fee on July 30th (have no idea why she's done that) but is planning to submit the application on August 12th. Her bank statements covering a one-month time period will show the closing balance as of August 12th.

As I understand the date of application is the date when the visa fee was paid and the bank statements must show a closing balance no older than 31 days BEFORE the date of application...

So, my question is, will her bank statements be rejected? I really don't know and suggested to her to pay again at the same time when she submits the application and request to refund the initial fee payment...

Everything can only be done online in her country.

Quite a strange situation and I'm puzzled about what to do...

I think the best thing is...

as it will clear the confusion and refusal tension.

Thank you. The thing is, there is no certainty and there's no way to reach anyone who could help get a definitive answer... Perhaps there's no problem at all the way it is...
