saver bonds financial requirements.

hi, please let me know , if one hasnt job applying on cash saving then saver bonds is valid? i mean if we apply for saver bond which is fixed for next 1 year .am i meeting to financial maintenance req?

It can only be used if its available to withdraw immediately. Can you withdraw even with a penalty?

is it possible that if today one get bond (which can withdraw immediately) for 1year period. can he apply spouse visa tomorrow ?

See chapter 7.2 of Annex FM 1.7 (click) this leads one to believe that the cash savings should not be in a bond, but the time the cash savings have been in a bond can be counted towards the 6 month period required.
