ILR Absence simple question - yes or no

I will make my question simple and go step by step with each thread.Already gone through lot of threads but now totally confused ?



My understanding is that if you were on Tier 1 General , as long as your absences don't exceed 180 in any 12 month period counting backwards from the date of your ILR application and don't exceed 90 at any one time, you are not required to submit any evidence.

No, but you may be asked for evidence for any absence though it's unlikely.

lets say#
if holiday - flight, hotel etc booking.

if business - is there any specific guidelines or specific documents relevant to specific categories ?( lets say if someone in category of 1.salaried transfer/2.self-employed/ 3.runs own company needs to keep hold of any specific documents)

first of all i must appreciate your excellent knowledge/experience and bigheartedness for helping here.
though i am still 3 yrs away to be eligible for ILR, I got real concern with recent change to ILR continuous period. I am on Tier-1(General)
After Dec-2012 any paid leaves need employer letter and any unpaid leaves seem to break continuous stay? I have unpaid leaves just before this change on Aug-Sept 2012., though my total out of country is hovering around 70 days, which i can reduce if post-pone ILR application by couple of months, as i immediately went back for 1 month on entry and came back to start employment tenure.
Also, how is this rule change JUSTIFIED for contractors who don't have annual leaves? this may discourage me to take up contractual work.

I was out of Uk more 177 days I am eligible for ILR ?
I was out of Uk more 103 days continues in 1st year I am eligible for ILR ? or not

ILR due 7 dec 2013

Dates given below
ARIVAL ARRIVAL

05/10/2009 21/10/2009 16
06/03/2011 27/03/2011 21
21/04/2011 27/04/2011 6

and that was not paid leave from organisation but I was having current account in the UK

But I heard some thing that continuously more than 90 days if your out of the country you will not be eligible ?

So long as your absences do not exceed 180 days in any 12 month period you should be ok. If you can get a letter to support the absences then it's perhaps wise if not, wage slips covering the period should suffice. Though, if you have neither I wouldn't fret as its unlikely you'd be asked for evidence.

I can take a letter form the company that I was on the companies assignment in india but I have not get paid on that time i do not have any bank credits or salary
I can ask company to give me salary slips

The letter should suffice but it's unlikely that you'll even be asked for evidence. LIUK is sufficient for KOLL settlement if you're applying before October 28, 2013.

I was out side the country in starting very 1st year for 103
what proof I can arrange apart form the letter from the company.
do they includes saturday and sunday or only working days
