Signature dilemma

Post by courny » Fri Aug 09, 2013 11:39 pm

this is a question in relation to difference in signature on 2 documents.

due to apply for join spouse visa

I have one signature (my old one used since i was very young and did not have a proper one) and its present on my Marriage cert (nikkah nama), my NIC (national identity card) and on 2 of my old passports.

past year i have started to use a new signature and its different from the old ones. this signature is present on my new passport only.

i am certain INIS will pick up this difference in signatures, so does any one have any suggestions on what to do in relation to this.
I am going to point out this difference in my cover letter and hopefully they will accept this but
is this going to be a major problem?
any suggestions?

hi nothing to worry about as your passport is your identity and its same on that if something comes up you can send explanatory letter to explain the situation main thing is that's your signature and its proved through your passport.

Good point.
I feel I should mention this from the start rather than inis picking up on it and refusing my wife's visa and then me having to appeal.
What do other people think?
