appeal dismissed HELP

Post by lala27 » Sat Aug 10, 2013 6:52 pm

first tribunal judge said, given the lack of agreement in the evidence provided on the validity of proxy marriage in nigeria and the coi report make it clear that information on the status of proxy marriage in nigeria is inconsistent.the validity of the marriage is an issue of nigeria law,and thus a question of fact to be decided by this tribunal.i am not satisfied that the marriage was not one of convenience or that the marriage was valid.

Does not seem to be a very reasoned decision. You should appeal.

If their is no valid marriage, then it could not be a marriage of convenience.
