ILR Application - Lost Biometric card and Passport

Post by krisbal » Sun Aug 11, 2013 5:46 pm

Hi all,

I am on tier 1 visa and eligible for ILR next week. After my extension in 2011, I lost my passport and Biometric card. I applied for a new passport and Biometric card and got it immediately. during that application, Indian embassy retained my original FIR copy and I had to submit a photocopy of FIR for my Biometric card to the Home office.
Now for ILR do I need to mention this whole story anywhere in the cover letter.
My lost passport didnt have any UK visa's , however it had entry and exit stamps. I do have a photocopy of all my passport pages of my lost passport.
The SET O form doesnt have any question asking, have you ever lost your passport or Biometric card. The question is related just to our current biometric card if it is lost which is not really applicable in my case.

Any suggestion is highly appreciated. I havent mentioned this agian in my cover letter. Should I be doing that?

Regards
B
