hi I just checked CRO WEBSITE and I could not find ay where how to register as sole trader self employed .
can someone explain it please as I need to get registered as self employed sole trader before my husband can apply eu1 .
and can we use the home address for sole trader self employed .thanks

I think you should stick to one thread.

If you look here - http://www.cro.ie/ena/contact-us.aspx - see the address and opening times. Go to the office and tell them you want to register a business name. They will give you a form to fill and will send you the certificate in about 3 weeks.

If you want to register as self employed then go to http://www.revenue.ie/en/business/popular-forms.html - fill out the first form and send it by post.

What are you doing exactly to be self employed?
