Tier 1 General Child visa, who can sign declaration?

Post by pshayer » Tue Aug 13, 2013 10:05 am

Hi,

I am on Tier 1 General PBS. We are applying our little one's visa from India. He was born in. If anyone applied the same visa from India recently, please answer my following questions so that I can plan accordingly.

1. Who can sign the declaration section on form? Do we need baby's thumb expressions or it should be signed by father?

2. What supporting documents we need to apply?

Note: There is no info in form about who can sign the form on baby's behalf.

Many thanks in advance.

I am applying Tier 1 General (PBS) dependent visa for my little one (8 months old). He was born in UK and travelled to India and now we applying his visa from India.

I have completed the online form but can see any information regarding who can sign the Declaration on application form.

Do we need thumb expressions of the baby or it should be signed by father?

Please reply ASAP.

thanks and Regards

It can be signed by the parent who is going to accompany the child for the visa appointment.

The only important mandatory supporting document is evidence of maintenance funds for the most recent 3 months, and birth certificate if child was born in the UK.
