I got my ILR today without any hassle and without any interaction with case worker. i have used my permanent salary and never mention that i am working as a contracter now.. Which means if you are out of job and have some balance in account it should be fine. They probably don't bother .

Congrats salmanzz!!!
Thanks for the cover letter.
Seems you didn't produce letter from employer regarding absence from the UK (25 days in your case). Is it not required??
Thanks

I Actually omitted the note from above cover letter mistakenly
6. Absence Dates from UK (Main Applicant)
Total number of days outside UK in Last 5 Years = 25
Date From Date To Number of Days Reason
xx/xx/2010 xx/xx/2010 25 Annual Leave: To meet parents in xxxx

However this is the only clarification i have given . I did not tick or mention anything on the form but just a note in cover letter. I did not have any letter in my extra document folder just payslips and job offer letter. I have seen so many cases on this forum including me who did not provide letter for less than 180 days

Hi salmanzz,
Thanks for the reply.
You mean to say that even though you had one absence of just 25 days you didn't complete section 6.1/6.2/6.3 in the form SET(O) which asks for entry/exit from UK and the reason.
Does UKBA not consider such form as incomplete?
Thanks.

Thank you for sharing the experience!
Did you just use 7 months payslips instead of 12? If yes, were you questioned on this?
