Last year of neutralisation, more than 90 days outside Uk

Post by Bobypatel80 » Tue Aug 13, 2013 6:41 pm

I am ILR visa and would like to apply for neutralisation. I finished my 12 month period after ILR but I was outside UK more than 90 days in last 12 month. Actually I calculated and its 91 days.

According to "Discretion on absences from the UK during the residential qualifying period" we should allow 100 days outside in last 12 month before apply for neutralisation.

I am not sure about that. Any one please conform me regarding that?

Thanks.

Neutralisation and Naturalisation

Post by VR » Tue Aug 13, 2013 6:56 pm

Bobypatel80,

For naturalisation they disregard upto 100 days absence in the final year. For neutralisation they expect you to park your car in neutral for no more than 90 days in the final year

Good Luck
