Tier 2 extension and then ILR

Post by imam.asad » Wed Aug 14, 2013 11:17 am

Hey Guys,

Great to see some good solutions and ideas being exchanged on the forum. Always have been a great fan of this place.

My query is more pro-active in the sense I have my extension due in Jan-2015 and hopefully ILR in Jan-2017.

As a background,

1) I originally switched from PSW to Tier 2 general in Jan-2012 with no need for a RLMT 2) My job is at NQF 4 3) Current salary is soon going to be 33k

Question 1:
For my extension in 2015, would the employer be required to do a RLMT if I continue to work for the same employer and for the same job?

Question 2:
As said earlier I will soon be put on a 33k salary and I have already spoken to the employer about the 35k salary and they are fine with that. The question is would my job being at NQF 4 have any impact on my ILR application

Question 3:

After I got my Tier 2 general in Jan-12, my wife joined me as a dependant on 25th May 2012. Will she eligible for ILR with me?

I will be obliged if someone could answer my queries above.

Regards,
Asad
