Not working and benefits query

Post by nehagharge » Thu Aug 15, 2013 12:09 pm

Hi All,

I am currently not working as I have to look after my 10 month old baby. To apply for JSA, the applicant should be looking for work but in my case, I would not be ready for work until next year.

Are they any benefits I would be eligible for?
We have only applied for child benefit and working tax credit.

Me and my partner have Indefinite leave to remain and my his monthly pay after deductions is £1300.

Thanks,
Neha

Possibly housing benefit and or council tax benefit/reduction.

Do any of your family unit have any disabilities?
