Sending in further documents, how to confirm by e-mail

Post by ampersand55 » Thu Aug 15, 2013 1:59 pm

I applied for my EEA2 RC in late June, got my CoA a few days later. I realized a few days later that I had omitted an important piece of evidence, and submitted it by post to the same address that I mailed my original to. This was just after their move to Durham, so to be double-sure, I sent (original) duplicates to their Durham address a few days after that. I want to make sure that my documents have arrived and been included in my application bundle.

I e-mailed UKBAeuropeanenquiries@ukba.gsi.gov.uk, quoting the dates the documents were posted and their special delivery barcode numbers. I asked only for confirmation that they have my documents -- not any kind of update on the progress of my application. No response.

A week later, I e-mailed the same address again, cc'd to UKBA customer complaints. No response.

It seems that there are a lot of e-mail addresses flying around on here, in different threads, with some people even getting helpful and prompt responses.

What e-mail addresses have people recently had luck with, that I might be able to try? Any other suggestions?

I don't know why this is such an impossible request for them. This seems like the most straightforward job in the world for their frontline lackeys, but this is the Home Office we're talking about...
