Hi,
My lil girl was born in UK (April 2013).I have no plans to travel out of the county till we (me and wife) apply for the ILR in Jan 2015.My baby at present doesn’t hold Indian passport. Do you guys thinks it worth registering her as Indian and get a passport or wait till our ILR (baby without Indian passport) and apply for MN1?

Thanks

Yes, as such there is no issue and you can directly apply for British Citizenship through MN1 for the child upon receiving your ILR.
However in such case you have to accept the the risk that you would not be able to take the baby out of the country should you need to travel for any emergencies. If you intend to make a postal application for ILR then be prepared to wait for couple of months.
