Hello,
I have read the forum and haven't found any similar case, so here it goes, any help is very appreciated.
I am a non-degree student for the third consecutive year and I have been offered a place for a Master's degree at the University of Limerick for the year 2014/ 2015 (it has to be next year because I got a scholarship). After three year it is imperative to move to a degree course in case the student wants to remain in the country. I tried the GNIB but they told I should contact the Student Review Group, which I did and after months trying I could get a reply after requesting a help from a TD.
They say I must do a degree and finish it before my masters starts (which is impossible as there are no 1-year degree, I went to two colleges. Besides I don't want to get any course just to remain in the country) OR leave the country, which is so pointless since I am going to be back in few months time.
I spoke to a solicitor but never get a reply. My question is, is there any way to appeal or any public organ I can request a review of their decision? I am already booking my flights back home as my visa expires in October.
Thank you very much
