Payslips are in Ordinary Sheet

Post by david1 » Sat Aug 17, 2013 1:22 pm

Hi,
My friend is on Tier 1 General for 5 years and he is going for his ILR.
For the last 1 year he worked for 2 companies. He resigned from the first company after working with them only 5 months.
The payslips he received from the company where ORDINARY PAPER PAYSLIPS (NOT IN COMPANY HEADER). When he resigned he received his P45 and also he has evidence that salary is paid to his bank account (bank statements).
But, recently he heard that the payslips should be in company header paper; otherwise home office will not accept it.
He resigned the job and the employer WILL NOT HELP him at all even by giving him a letter. Can anyone tell us a good solution? He has the payslips in ordinary sheet, P45 and bank statements. Will home office accept payslips in ordinary sheet?
David

No.

The only good and the only solution is - follow what the policy guidance states.

He has got bankstatements and p45. Will home office accept p45 or any other letter from HMRC instead of his payslips as a proof of his income?

Has he made any effort to read the policy guidance? It is all explained there ... so make him read it.

If he cannot find the settlement policy guidance, ask him to read the Tier 1 (General) policy guidance. The documentary evidences required for attributes are exactly the same - whether one is applying for settlement or extension.

I assume his visa is going to be rejected. His employer told him that he is not going to help him.
