New Biometrics for ILR?

Post by RoyW » Sat Aug 17, 2013 10:24 pm

Hi all, My wife is about to apply for ILR in the next few weeks. She done her biometrics two years ago and received the card then.
Does she have to do this again for ILR or will the one she received at the spouse visa stage be still valid?

thanks..
ps. she is under the `old` rules.

You have to redo the biometrics. She'll get a new BRP after being granted settlement.

Biometric information is organic in nature, living information used to asses the applicants identity and criminality, it's not a certificate.
