Need info for T1 Gen Dependent visa for UK Born Indian baby

Hello All,

Has anyone applied T1 dependent visa for UK born baby by post ? If yes , I have following queries:-

1. Do we need to send covering letter? If yes can you please suggest format or sample

2. Do we need to send original passport & Biometric cards for both parents?

3. How much is the waiting time for postal service?
