payslips and bank statements

Post by micheal.angle » Mon Aug 19, 2013 6:06 pm

hello and good evening,

I have an appointment booked at the PEO office in Sheffield and am relying on overseas earnings as part of my total earnings. I was issued payslips for say the months of march, arpril etc but the monies were not paid into my account until april, may etc for instance.
Do my payslips dates that is for example a march payslip should correspond to march on the bank statement? As the monies do not get into my bank account until a week after statement date

I am presently confused as I don't know what the position of the law is on this.

thank you and appreciate your prompt reply

Hi,

My case is below

1. I have a payslip for the month ending Aug 31 and the salary deposited to Bank on Sep 30
2. I have another payslips for the month ending Dec 31 and Jan 31 and the salaries deposited to Bank on Feb 12 for both months.

I got my extension, I think as long as salary is deposited for the EXACT amount of payslip and bank transaction they are ok.

Hope this helps

Casa, the OP is (perhaps) applying for leave to remain as a PBS migrant, hence is subject to PBS rules & guidelines.

Mentioning the fact, delay in salary credit to a different month than the month salary slip is issued, should be sufficient. Alternatively, a letter from the employer to confirm the same will also do.

Not an issue, as long as the caseworker is informed so he/she knows what he/she is looking at.
