Reduntant and Confused

Post by kyrunner » Mon Aug 19, 2013 11:52 pm

Hello.

I am in the consultation/notice period of my redundancy and I have until the 25th of November with the company. I am an American on a Tier 2 ICT Visa.

How much time after the end of my notice period do I have to still find a job?

Is there anything I need to do now about my visa to stay and work in the UK?

Thanks in advanced!

If you are eligible to switch you should start looking for a new job/sponsorship now.

When your job terminates on 25 Nov the company should inform the HO and your visa will be curtailed to 60 days from the date the HO make the decision to curtail. This is to allow time to find another job (provided you are eligible) or to wind up your affairs
