Filling in form AN using Acrobat

Post by Terryfic » Tue Aug 20, 2013 11:03 am

I apologise if this seems like a silly question but, is it ok to use the form filling feature in Adobe Acrobat to type the information into form AN (Naturalisation as a British Citizen), as opposed to filling it in by hand?

I only ask because the instructions say "clearly written in block letters in black or blue ink". Completing the form by hand doesn't really work for me because my handwriting is terrible, even in block capitals. My wife's is not much better. :)

Presumably, they just need the information to be clear, so I would imagine it will always be clearer if typed in block capitals rather than handwritten - but I'd rather be sure before I send it off.

Typing the form

Many leading Immigration solicitors do it. Except the signature page and the referees page all the rest are typed in bold and printed out.
cheers

Thanks vr. Don't know what it is about these forms that turns normal brains to mush. :)
