Discretionary leave to remain after divorce...

Post by albi7 » Tue Aug 20, 2013 3:33 pm

Hi

I got married and i had a spouse visa, after the visa expired I needed to finish Life in uk test and i was late for 2 min, and I didnt have enough time to apky again... Straight forward I called Home Office and they advised me to apply for FLR(m). To have some more time on my visa so I can prepare better for life in uk test... I applied and got a Discretionary Leave to Remain which expires on 2.05.2015.
In this period me and my wife actually her fell out of love and she wanted to brake up... I tried to keep my relationship because I still believe that there is still love but her family was quiet involved and made it even harder to same my relationship...
Now we will divorce and I am wondering what will happen with me after myDiscretionary Leave to remain expires... I need to know am I entitled to reapply for another one or what should I do...

Thank you i hope I was clear enough?

If your circumstances have changed significantly the DLR will unlikely be extended. How long have you been in the UK and do you have any children?
