Number of Tier 2 (General) extensions

Hi,

How many times can the Tier 2 (General) Visa be extended within the 6 years limitation? For instance, is it possible to do three 2-year stints, i.e. get the Tier 2 Visa for 2 years, and then extend it 2 times for 2 years each: 2+2+2=6?

Judging by 245HE (e), there is no restriction on the number of extensions, only on the total stay (6 years), right?
