ILR and maintenance

Im applying for ILR this dec and need to extend my wife's visa since she doesn't qualify for the 24-months for stay in UK. I have a couple of questions related to this situation.

1) How much money should I maintain for my ILR visa and for how many months?
2) How much money should I maintain for my wife's visa extension and for how many months?
3) Can I use the overdraft in my account to show balance in my account?
4) Do I have to produce the proof of employment history for the last 5 years?
