Spouse visa under new exempt carer allowance

Post by Dil143 » Sat Aug 24, 2013 10:13 pm

Hi everyone im new to this, i just wanted to know has anyone had an sucessful application on applying under the new financial exempt for carer allowance. Im married to my husband 2 years now, he lives in algeria. And i really need to bring him over to support me as ive not been well myself. He accepted my situation like many men wouldnt. And i do find him ginune because of his family background an how his parents are. He just passed his english test an im about to apply. My income a month is around 1800. I got 4 kids, 1 whom has disability and gets higher rate allowance. Does anyone know what my chances are bringing him over before i submit documents. And is saving necessary, i only have 2000 on saving. I really miss him an find it hard going to visit him every 4 months. I just want we start our life. The kids dad also pays child maintanence on top so that should help. Please any1 in my circumstances can you let me know how your application went. Thank you

Yes you can apply but need to set your application out clearly with a full explanation, see this thread http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=139024

Hi thanks for reply, im on carer allowance of 239 monthly, from june 3rd until now i manage to save the 2000 in account just not on weekly basis. And also i have job offer for him an prepared a cv for him. He too has saving 2,500 or more but in euros. Do you think i stand good chance. It hurts to submit an get refused. The fee of appeal is too much plus further cost. I want get right first time. Im getting a company called ics legal to help do paperwork. An too be honest they just want the money for doing the application on my behalf.

You should read the link I gave above its a similar story of rejection where the application wasn't clearly laid out. I've given an example of a supporting letter and calculations to be used, perhaps follow it?
