Discetionary Leave To Remain- Extension-

Post by tendailmoyo » Sun Aug 25, 2013 5:17 pm

Hi guys

I applied for discretionary leave to remain extension. Last week.Outside the rules. The basis of my application is my British born daughter who is 7 years and length of stay in the UK 14 yrs. I am a professional and in full time employment

1. My previous visa was a discretionary 3 yrs.Granted in August 2010.

At that time my biometric data was taken at Post Office in London but a card was not issued.
Will I need to do biometrics again? I sent proof of receipt

2. How long will the application take? My initial application took 6 months.

I have not yet received acknowledgment letter.

The whole process is emotionally draining and i am reliving the past torture.
