I forgot to fill in the summary sheet on Appendix 8.

As the title says, I somehow forgot to fill in my points on the Appendix 8 summary section which is Part 7 of the .pdf. I thought nothing could go wrong since they check all my documents before I am allowed to submit it, but I guess they don't check thoroughly. I'm not blaming anyone, I know this is completely my mistake but I am wondering now if my visa will then be automatically rejected?

Of course I have signed the Appendix 8 and my CAS and other documents are attached to my application so I'm really hoping they can see I have obtained the points required and I'll still get my visa despite my stupid mistake. (I'm from Malaysia if that's important)

Nobody can say anything exactly, your application may be returned as invalid. But I hope everything will be fine if all other documents are correct according to application. Plus, I think your country is also listed in low-risk category. So may be this status will help as well.
