Cancel Visa extension Application?

Post by G4B3R » Mon Aug 26, 2013 3:58 pm

Hi,

My wife has applied for visa extension of FLR(O), it has been over 7
Months and heard nothing and i am travelling to study. My query is
What happens if someone cancels the application to have the passport
Back? And how long do they have to travel once they receive the passport.
Also what is stated on the letter when the passport arrives.

Thanks

Withdraw the application means as it says. You can ask the case to be expedited if emergency travel is needed?

Thanks,
I know but how soon do you have to travel and all your documents are returned and in airport they will see she has overstayed by months. So what will happen?

You should be careful what you are doing, your spouse should regularise her stay here before going to Romania. Although, Surinder Singh may be an option in the future, it won't be whilst you're a student.

Flr(o) isn't the application, but I'm guessing its article 8 family life. When you were in Romania previously, did your spouse live with you and we're you working?

I am worried now.
Why what could happen? Would it affect her?

Well if she leaves without regularising her stay she'll have to rely on Surinder Singh to return.

I gather you mean when she returns?

Have you been to Romania before as you said go back?

I don't think there will be many questions on the way out.

Are you sure you even needed to get flr(o)? Did you work in Romania and did you live there with your wife?

Well if you think you can work in Romania then Singh it back?

If not, given that your child is young perhaps try and get flr(o) for your wife, however, if she's happy in Romania then perhaps it's not necessary? Contact your MP to try and expedite your case, though, I'm not sure is studying is an emergency.
