Period of appeal and continuous stay - ilr

Post by closer25 » Mon Aug 26, 2013 9:43 pm

Hi

Just wanted to check with you all if anyone knew if a period of appeal after refusal causes a break in the continuous stay for ilr please?

a friend of mine had his tier one extension refused - the original visa ended in june 2011 but application made by post was returned in july 2011 and refused and on 7th sept 2011 by an immigration court, the appeal was allowed- he never left the uk.............. do you think this refusal will cause any problems regarding continuous stay in the uk for ilr please?

Thanks
