FLR(O) application - Please help

Hi,

I am planning to apply for FLR(O) on the grounds of parent of a child in uk.
my son is a british citizen and I am seperated from my husband due to domestic violence.

Is it possible if I am eligible to apply, also I do not have any court order or any such for the sole parental responsibility of the child letter. My child is with me since i left my husband when my child was 3 months old.

Also i have recently applied for the Child support agency.

will i application be still valid? i was earning more than £30,000 + before as software engineer, now becos of my visa status i cudn't go to a proper job...
so i don know how to prove HO that i can accomodate my child.

please please help me...am afraid they will refuse my application...kindly help me anyone...pls
