Hello everyone,
I am young and need advice
My father is a British citizen but we do not speak. So I have to do this on my own.
I was not born in the UK but I have been in the UK for Over 10 yrs, at first I was in school and college but now I can't go further with my education or get work because I do not have my papers.
I was told I need to fill in form FLR(0) but my application was refused because I did not have enough private life information.
What does this mean....
Am I using the right form?
Please can someone advice me on what to do.
Thank you.

When were you born, is your father British otherwise than by descent and was he when you were born? Were your parents married, is your father on your Birth certificate?

@ D4109125...
Thanks for replying my post
I was born in 1987. (26yrs old)
I have been in the UK for 14 years
My father got his citizenship by marriage (Not to my mother) only 10 years ago, so he was not british as at the time of my birth.
He never married my mother.

What evidence did you provide to show all your social, cultural or family ties are in the UK?

What did you write/submit to show that you have no social, cultural or family ties with their country of origin?

I have been here since i was 12 years old... I am now 26yrs old
I don't know where my mother is as i was more or less abandoned at 12 years old.
My father has turned his back on me, as his new wife doesn't want me around.
I feel like my whole life and life experiences have been in the UK.

You need to be very thorough and very persuasive to basically show that you have nothing abroad and that everything lies in the UK. If you did that then look at appeal/reconsideration of your case and add further supporting evidence. Such as, a lack of travel to your native Country and full description of how you have rooted yourself into the culture and society here and how you could never begin to imagine life anywhere else but in the UK and that you would not be able to establish yourself anywhere else as all your ties are here etc.... What is your current immigration status?

Well i guess i'm not legally in the country.
I came in on a visa when i was 12 yrs old and lost my passport few years ago due to moving around so many times.
Would you say i did the right thing by filling in the FLR(0) form?
