can my friend stay in the uk

Post by abbey590 » Wed Aug 28, 2013 10:04 am

I have a friend who has lied in the uk now for 13 years he has been living with and been together with his partner for ten years now he currently has a spouse visa however things between him and his partner are braking down and are no longer working out.they are not married to one another. He is worried that if they spilt up that she can cancel his visa and he will be sent back home. He has a job here along with family and friends and has nothing back home.if his current partner does cancel hos visa once they spilt is there anyway he can apply for another visa to stay in the uk or any way at all possible for him to stay here within the uk.any information anyone has would be appreciated. Thanks

Better if your friend asks his own question as yours lacks essential information.

His full immigration history, dates, grants, refusals, appeals. Full history of relationship with partner, kids, ages etc. Family back home. Work status/history/dates/salaries. Educational status. Results of any english tests. Results of Life in the UK test etc.

All of that has to be taken into account in different circumstances in different applications.

Hence why it's far easier if the individual is here than partial information being presented.
