RE: RE-entry to the UK after ICT Tier 2 Visa

Hi All,

I was on a UK TIER 2 ICT Visa and left the UK shortly after leaving my previous employer/job at the end of 2012. My visa was initially planned to end in Dec 2014. The UKBA seems to be quite delayed in their letters re informing visa holders to leave the country and I only got my letter via redirected mail in end April 2013.
My questions are :
1. When would any re-entry visa to the UK for work purposes be allowed? One year after I left the country or one year after the day of latest departure given by the UKBA?
2. When one want to re-enter the UK, how does one provide proof that one has been residing outside the UK for a year? Is a tenancy lease agreement in your home country proof that you were out of the country?
