processing time for Tier 1 extension

Hi,

I have submitted application for tier 1 ext about 1 month & 20 days ago . biomatric done after 1 week but no further response from ukba. any idea why they are taking so long time to process extension.

I am also worried about the unusual delay. Applied on 11th July so probably around 1 month 20 days now (actually 50 days).
very unusual it seems. anyone else having a similar experience and thoughts or knowledge on what this delay could be for.

I double checked all my docs and points criteria so I don't believe I have erred anywhere on that part.

Guys, pls help. Any idea why ukba may be taking so long. This is my second extension and to best of my knowledge I fulfill all the points. Is there anyway I can contact them to get status. My application was posted on 11th July and biometrics on 23 rd July.

Dear Member,

I applied for my extension of tier 1 general visa on the same day as you on 11th July and have just received my passport back last Saturday, so I hope yours should also be coming soon.

My application has been approved but I am waiting for my bio metric card to arrive in a separate post.

so I got my brp and passport last week.

BRP came on 4th Sep with effective date of 3 sep and passport arrived next day.

still can't understand why they took so long.
