income calculation for dependant before 9th july 12 rule

Post by mhossan1 » Fri Aug 30, 2013 1:05 pm

hi

my wife (dependant of ILR holder) will apply under set o on 9th august 13 at croydon PEO for settlement. she falls under transitional arrangement because she was a dependant before 9th july 12.

my income net £1373 per month plus £20.30 child benefit per week

87.96 (child benefit per month)+1373 (net salary per month)=£1460.97 per month total income

accommodation £500
council tax £120

by the way my child is british citizen

i would like to know whether i qualify or not? or could anyone please give me the formula. i intend to give 3 months bank statement and payslip as proof of income, will that be sufficient or i need to give 6 months docs?

many thanks in advance

There is no minimum income requirement in this category.

It's adequate maintenance and accommodation rather than a financial requirement, based on your income, there shouldn't be an issue, you may also be entitled to tax credits. 3 months wage slips and corresponding bank statements shoud suffice, with cohabitation proof.

many thanks for your response,

could you please inform me whether insurance letter and personal injury solicitors letter will be counted as proof of cohabitation letters?

Official instruments and the other types of documents are suggested on the form. In lieu of those, other documents might be considered but it really depends on the quality and you have not been specific. Anyone could contact an ambulance-chasing solicitors and an insurance company and ask them information to any address of their choosing. But the general nature of the information sent to addressee might be almost worthless to prove their residence at the address.
