I am applying in the next couple of weeks for my ILR and I just wanted to confirm that by applying using set m forms this will generate a letter for my biometric permit application??? not sure i got the right idea?
Also I have a son and I wanted to put in his birth certificate to support my application but my partner is applying for a student loan for her fees and has sent the certificate to them will it be ok if this isn't included or should I write a letter explaining why, he is british. many thanks in advance.

If you apply via PEO the Bio metrics will be done at your appointment if you apply by post you'll get an invite to do them at a post office. The child's birth certificate is not needed.
If applying by post for SET(M) then use the
Settlement Checking Service (click)

chairut wrote:Hi there please help to clarify
I went in to my bank to ask for my bank statements for the past 3 months and they printed them off in the branch. are these acceptable or do they need to be statements that are sent to you as I had asked for these too and i've waited over a week and nothing has arrived yet and time is running out. Can i submit the application using the printouts from my branch or not???? They have my address on and when they were printed.
Many thanks for all advice given........hoping to post it off next week.

Originals are best but any copies of the bank statements should be stamped and signed by the cashier. I would not use copies for cohabitation proof.
